Ordering
When you place an order online through our website you are representing and warranting to us;
- You are at least 18 years of age; and
- You have capacity to enter into a legally binding contract
When you place an order online you will receive an email from us confirming receipt of your order. This does not mean that we have accepted your order. Your order constitutes your offer to us to buy a product or products from us. All and every order placed by our customers online is subject to acceptance by us. Such acceptance will be given by us sending you an email that we have accepted your order and issuing tickets or sending goods to you. The contract between us is made only at the time we send you an email confirming dispatch and up until that time we reserve the right not to fulfil any or all orders placed by you. In the event we are unable to dispatch all the products you have ordered, the contract between us will relate solely to those products we dispatch or which we have confirmed we have dispatched.
We may decide not to accept your order for a variety of reasons including the following;
- Non availability of product or concert tickets
- Your not being able to fulfil the criteria set out in these Terms & Conditions.
- Our being unable to obtain appropriate authorisation for your payment.
- A pricing or identification error of the product or products.
All ticket prices are shown inclusive of VAT. For events where we sell tickets directly, we currently do not charge any extra fees unless you request delivery by post. Our partner box offices at venues may charge additional fees.
Refunds & Exchanges
Refunds
All tickets are non refundable. In the event of a concert being cancelled, we will contact you and let you know the steps to follow.
Donations
Under The Charities Act 2011, charities are not permitted to refund donations, other than in specific circumstances. If you feel this applies to you, please contact us directly to discuss.
Fees
All additional fees, such as transaction or delivery fees, are exempt from refunds as the service has already been provided.
Exchanges
If you have purchased a Multibuy package and are unable to make a prebooked concert, we will be happy to exchange your tickets for a new date (within the same price band). Exchanges are accepted up to 24 hours in advance of the concert and are subject to availability.
Tickets purchased outwith a Multibuy package are not eligible for exchanges.
Ticket Dispatch
In the course of booking directly through sco.org.uk, tickets will be emailed to you. Full details will be provided on your Booking Confirmation Email.
In most cases, an electronic or printed copy of your tickets is required to gain entrance to your booked concert.
In some cases, tickets can also be collected from the venue from one hour before the performance. Full details are shown on the Booking Confirmation Email.
Tickets can be collected only on production of the credit or debit card used to purchase them and can be collected only by the cardholder. Additional proof of ID may be required including identification for tickets bought with a Ticket Discount.
Postal tickets bought as part of a Multibuy will be sent out in early August. For Multibuy bookings received after this date, we will endeavour to get your tickets to you within 10 working days and in time for your first concert.
Multibuy Packages
Customers can choose to purchase multiple concerts in one transaction using the booking form in our Season Brochure. Customers who purchase a Multibuy package receive a host of benefits including a discount off the price of their tickets, based on the number of concerts they are attending. The more concerts a customer attends, the greater the discount they receive.
A customer can book Multibuy packages for multiple persons as long as all the people in the party are attending all the same concerts. If people in the party wish to attend a different selection of concerts, separate booking forms may have to be submitted.
Customers attending 12 or more concerts the previous Season will have their seats reserved on their behalf and will be contacted over a priority booking period by a member of our booking team to arrange their booking for the upcoming Season.
Customers attending 11 concerts or fewer the previous Season can book their tickets online, by calling us on +44 (0)131 557 6800 or by returning a completed booking form to SCO Tickets, 4 Royal Terrace, Edinburgh EH7 5AB.
All concerts and events that you wish to attend should be included in your Multibuy booking. Any additional purchases will not be discounted or taken into consideration when renewing your booking for the next Season.
Multibuy tickets
A Full Price / Standard Multibuy is available for everyone, except in the following cases:
- A Disability Multibuy is for anyone who is a blue badge holder or who has a registered disability.
- A student / U26 Multibuy is for anyone who has a student ID or aged 19-26.
- Free tickets are available for Under 18s and full-time carers (subject to availability).
RETURNING CUSTOMERS' PREFERRED SEATS
Customers who booked 12 or more concerts via the SCO Multibuy the previous Season will have their preferred seats reserved in advance of tickets being made available to anyone else. Particular seats can therefore never be guaranteed to anyone who booked 11 concerts or fewer the previous Season. If your preferred seats are not available for any of the concerts you wish to attend, we will allocate the nearest, best alternatives.
Payment Security
All card payments are processed through SagePay who secure your data with level 1 PCI DSS certification.
Direct Debit payments are processed by SmartDebit who operate to the highest standards of security, from token-based data transfer to dedicated Tier 3 data centres.
