Since our inaugural concert at Glasgow’s City Halls on 27 January 1974, the Scottish Chamber Orchestra has brought live music to people across Scotland and far beyond. During the Concert Season from September to May we regularly perform in Edinburgh, Glasgow, St Andrews, Dumfries, Ayr, Perth, Inverness and Aberdeen. Outside of the Concert Season, we tour the length and breadth of Scotland on our annual Summer Tour and our award-winning innovative and imaginative Creative Learning programme enables people of all ages and musical abilities to make music, learn and experience the joy of the Orchestra.
