The Youth Assembly serves in an advisory capacity to both the SCO and the Royal Scottish National Orchestra (RSNO). Members of this joint Youth Assembly have a remit to identify priorities for developing, strengthening and deepening each orchestra’s youth engagement and to contribute to the implementation of ideas and projects that support these priorities. In return, Youth Assembly members gain valuable life and work experience as well as practical experience in leadership and governance.

Young voices tend to contribute new ideas and perspectives that challenge longstanding beliefs and systems. They help organisations drive change, encourage innovation and become more resilient for the future.
