Emily Scott is a singer, songwriter, double bassist and music educator based in Glasgow. She is front-woman of critically acclaimed chamber-pop band Modern Studies, and has most recently completed a solo album for piano and string orchestra, as Chrysanths. She is beyond excited to work with the SCO to explore further the orchestral palette, and find a place where her pop influences and classical sensibilities can meet in a playful and creative way.
